Turning Up the Heat at Chilli Fest

The end of August turned out plenty spicy – and not just because the sun made a rare appearance. On 29th August, Waddesdon Manor once again hosted the legendary Chilli Fest: a weekend brimming with fire, flavour, and more than a little character (sound familiar?).

We rolled in with the Hitchcox bar, keeping things cool with our refreshingly cheeky ciders. Nothing tames a tongue-tingling tandoori or a sauce that blows your socks off quite like a crisp apple pour, and festival-goers knew exactly where to head when they needed to soothe the burn.

From street food that had people sweating in style to sauces that made brave souls question their life choices, the Chilli Fest brought the heat – and we brought the relief. A scorched palate, a chilled cider, and a full heart: that’s how August signed off.
