Straight from our Oxfordshire farm, we hand-pick the finest apples (and sometimes get a bit carried away with what we do with them). If you are planning to pop in or pick up, just to let you know that our Cider Office is closed on Mondays. You are welcome to visit us on site Tuesday – Friday between Only visit the site between 2.30 – 4.30pm. Fridays are our dedicated collection day between 2.30 – 4.30pm form the Tipi area.
At Hitchcox Cider, things are done a little differently — and always with purpose. Led by Toby (yes, the man with the beard), we grow, press, and pour with serious care and not-so-serious charm. Every cider we make is rooted in tradition, crafted with 100% apple juice from hand-selected fruit grown right here on our Oxfordshire farm.
No artificial nonsense. No over-complication. Just award-winning cider, made by people who genuinely love what they do and it shows in every drop.
“The Black Panther – arguably the most idyllic and perfect cider I’ve tasted. Complex nose and flavour yet crisp with great clarity. Not heavy like a cloudy cider yet warming without unpleasant acidity that meant the whole bottle went down upsettingly fast. How dare you let me only buy a single bottle!! Single variety, whiskey barrel aged is a work of art and I must have more or be on your waiting list for next year’s pressings.”

We hate to boast (alright, maybe just a little), but we’ve got a fair few shiny awards to our name — including nods from the International Cider Challenge and the Bath & West British Cider Championships 2025.
Turns out, all that pressing, tasting, tweaking (and obsessing) pays off. Who knew?
